Changes to Bridge to Benefits effective January 1, 2014

The Bridge to Benefits (B2B) website will be updated on Jan. 1, 2014 to include information on and screening for Advanced Premium Tax Credits (APTCs) and the updated eligibility criteria for Medical Assistance (MA) and MinnesotaCare. These changes are part of the full implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). You can get information about the ACA, APTCs and changes to MA and MinnesotaCare, by clicking here.

There will be many changes to the screening tool in order to screen for the health care programs under the new rules. The screening tool will include questions to determine tax filing status and Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI). Due to these updates, the health care B2B site will no longer be necessary on Jan. 1.

To implement these changes on Jan. 1, B2B may experience some outages a few days before and on Jan. 1. We are trying to keep the outages during non-peak hours, but if you come to the site and it’s down please try again in a couple hours.
